Parking & Arrival Information

Everything you need to know before you arrive at the kayak tour launch site.

Free Parking

Parking is free at our launch site on County Rd 865. There are no meters or parking fees. The lot accommodates cars, trucks, and SUVs. During peak season, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to secure a spot close to the launch area.

Arrive 15 Minutes Early

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This gives you time to park, check in with your guide, get fitted with a PFD, receive your paddling instruction, and be ready to launch on schedule.

Meeting Point

Your exact meeting point and any special instructions will be provided in your booking confirmation email. Look for the Mike's Coastal Expeditions kayaks and gear staged near the water. If you have trouble finding us, call (239) 791-2638 and we will guide you in.

Restrooms

Portable restroom facilities are available near the launch area. We recommend using the restroom before your tour, as there are no facilities once you are on the water. There are also public restrooms at nearby Bonita Beach Park if you prefer.

What to Leave in Your Car

Leave valuables, jewelry, and anything you do not want to get wet locked in your vehicle. We provide a dry bag for essentials like your phone, keys, and wallet. Beach chairs, coolers, and extra clothing should stay in the car.

What to Bring

Wear clothes you do not mind getting wet. Bring sunscreen (reef-safe preferred), sunglasses with a retainer strap, a hat, a water bottle, and water shoes or sport sandals with heel straps. Skip the flip-flops. A waterproof phone case is optional but recommended.
